Swimming...yoga...breathing...squealing!

So, I think we all know that I'm not much of a swimmer. I've always been a bit of a scaredycat around water. And that's quite sensible of me, I reckon. Water is scary! How long can you hold your breath for under water? 20 seconds? 30 seconds? Awesome! Can you keep going for much longer? No? You know why not? BECAUSE YOU WILL DIE!!! Breathing is ace!  I love breathing. I don't want to stay anywhere that won't allow me to breathe, thank-you-very-much.

The Kayak Trip - Day 1 (Saturday 9 July)

Michelle and Dave picked us up from the hostel in the morning and we went to pick up the family of 6 from their hotel (Big Mike (dad) and 5 kids: John, Max, Catherine, Andrew and (little) Mike).  First impressions were pretty awesome. Andrew bounded over to introduce himself while the others were loading their bags. John introduced himself as an erotic dancer. We could already see his arse-crack. The trip was starting to look a little less sedate. And as we loaded their gear into the trailer we saw bottle after bottle of good red wine.  Bugger, we thought, we should have bought booze after all...
